45th Annual Western Federation of Watercolor Societies Exhibition

The WFWS45 organizers have shared juror Stephen Quiller's selections for the WFWS45 exhibition in Boise, ID. One hundred paintings were chosen out of 945 entries received.

The competition was very high for this show, but we were confident from the quality of our CWS artists' submissions that the CWS would do well; and indeed 13 of our entries will be included in the exhibition.

Please join us in thanking all participating CWS artists who made us so proud, and in congratulating the selected artists for their achievement. The selected pieces are:

  • Jay Breese's Hike's Reward
  • Curt Gillespie's Sunlit Pines
  • Janice Hanson's West Sands Beach Seabirds
  • Jeremy Jones's Mixed Signals
  • Susan Marion's Rampart Reservoir
  • Susan Montague's If Ever
  • Lynn Nebergall's Bountiful
  • Carol Newsom's Mountain Man
  • Nancy Priest's Miró Meets the Matchmaker
  • Linda Renaud's Taking the Plunge
  • Beatrice Trautman's Seagull's Delight
  • Anita Winter's Around the Bend
  • Gene Youngmann's Whistle Maker

Individual notification emails have been sent to all participants (all who entered will receive the catalog of the exhibition), and the selected artists have received additional instructions and forms.
