Educating in the principles of fine art
CWS coordinates a variety of watermedia workshops annually and all are open to the public. Our workshops offer artists of every skill level the ability to expand their knowledge and skills. Learn from nationally recognized artists in a professional setting, the latest techniques, styles and media to improve your artwork.

March 1st - 5th 2010, the Ratinda Das workshop will be held in conjunction with CWS’ State Show. This 5 day workshop will teach you the simple truths and secrets about the medium of watercolor. The class will accommodate a variety of skill and experience levels. His one abiding rule is to not make a "boring" picture.

April 19th-23rd 2010, Michael Atkinson. He is a contemporary watercolorist known for depicting Western and Southwestern scenes and architectual subjects using vivid color and interesting compositions.
June 4th-6th 2010, Gene Youngmann. Experience painting the landscape outside in Georgetown, CO with breath taking views of Colorado's high peaks.
July 9th- 11th 2010, Ted Nuttall. Learn about Ted's unique style for portaiture and figure painting while developing your own technique.
September 10th - 12th 2010, Peggy Stenmark, more details to follow.
October 18th-22nd 2010, Stan Miller, more details to follow.
