Annual Member's Show

2009 Colorado Watercolor Society Member Show

This show is open to all CWS members whose membership is up to date. This is NOT a juried show and entry does not count toward Signature membership.

Each CWS member may enter up to 3 paintings, no larger than 12 inches in any direction including frame. All paintings will not necessarily be displayed. There is an entry fee of $5 per painting. All paintings must be for sale.

All paintings must be framed and ready to hang with a wire. Please use silver, gold or black simple-profile frames. Mats must be white or off white; color liners of up to ¼” are allowed.

All paintings must be water-based medium with proper supporting painting surface, i.e. watercolor paper. Paintings on yupo and watercolor canvas ARE allowed for this show, but must be framed.

This will be a “cash and carry” show. Patrons may take paintings with them at time of purchase. Sold paintings will be replaced on the wall from the stock of paintings on hand, but not necessarily from the same artist.

The OFAC reserves the right to reject any painting they feel is not suitable for hanging due to quality or theme, or is unsuitably framed. Nudes will not be accepted.

The commission for this show will 35% to the OFAC; artist will be paid 65%.

All paintings must be labeled on the front and back with the artist’s name, title, medium and price. All paintings listed on the entry form must be delivered to the show.

Please complete the “Entry Form”. Mail this form and your entry fee (made out to CWS) of $5 per painting to Nancy Sullo -- CWS, 2830 5th St., Boulder CO 80304.
